WHO IT'S FOR
Resilience Consulting is for organisations dealing with pressure that is persistent rather than isolated. It may be relevant where the organisation is navigating:
-
sustained demand;
-
significant change;
-
leadership strain;
-
recurring team patterns;
-
cultural pressure;
-
difficult operating rhythms;
-
repeated communication problems;
-
responsibility issues;
-
leadership challenges requiring continuity.
It is not designed merely to keep a consultant attached to the organisation after a Workshop. The advisory relationship exists where repeated review, judgement and implementation support are genuinely useful.
WHAT IT IS
Resilience Consulting is an ongoing organisational resilience advisory engagement. It provides structured continuity for organisations that need sustained work around:
-
leadership pressure;
-
organisational resilience;
-
team functioning;
-
responsibility;
-
decision-making;
-
operating rhythms;
-
culture change.
The work may include:
-
senior-leadership consultation;
-
facilitated leadership-team review;
-
organisational reflection;
-
implementation support;
-
practical recommendations;
-
recurring review.
The purpose is not to create dependency on an external consultant. The purpose is to support clearer organisational judgement and more deliberate action while the relevant work is being carried forward.
WHAT IT ADDRESSES
Resilience Consulting may be appropriate where:
-
pressure is recurring rather than temporary;
-
a Workshop or intensive has identified issues requiring continued attention;
-
leadership strain affects several connected areas;
-
change is unfolding over time;
-
team functioning requires repeated review;
-
leadership needs an external developmental perspective during implementation;
-
the organisation requires continuity rather than another isolated event.
The service is not automatically appropriate merely because an organisation has complex problems. It must remain within the professional scope of organisational resilience and leadership-development advisory work.
STANDARD ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE
The standard Resilience Consulting engagement is designed around a defined organisational client unit. It does not mean unlimited access across an entire organisation.
Initial Organisational Scoping Session
One:
90-minute initial organisational scoping session
with the nominated organisational sponsor or senior leadership contact.
This establishes:
-
context;
-
principal leadership pressures;
-
scope;
-
priorities;
-
participating leadership group;
-
practical working arrangements.
Monthly Sponsor / Senior-Leader Advisory
Two:
60-minute private leadership advisory sessions per month
with the nominated:
-
organisational sponsor;
-
senior leader;
-
agreed principal leadership contact.
Monthly Leadership-Team Session
One:
90-minute facilitated leadership-team review or advisory session per month
for the defined leadership group.
Defined Leadership Group
The standard engagement includes one defined leadership group of:
up to 8 people
maximum.
Work involving additional teams, departments or significantly wider organisational access is separately scoped.
Implementation Support
Bounded asynchronous support is available between scheduled sessions for agreed implementation questions. Messages are reviewed on working days and normally answered within one working day.
The standard engagement does not include unlimited:
-
document review;
-
policy writing;
-
facilitated meetings;
-
new projects;
-
organisation-wide consultancy access.
Substantive additional work is scoped separately.
Monthly Advisory Note
A concise written advisory note records:
-
principal priorities;
-
agreed actions;
-
responsibilities;
-
matters requiring continued attention;
-
next review points.
This is not a clinical, psychological or employee-assessment report.
Formal 90-Day Review
The initial engagement concludes with a structured 90-day review. The review considers:
-
what has changed;
-
what remains unresolved;
-
what the organisation has implemented;
-
what still requires attention;
-
whether continuing advisory support is useful and appropriate.
Continuation is not automatic.
REMOTE / ON-SITE BALANCE
Resilience Consulting is delivered primarily remotely, with planned on-site work included where it is useful and appropriate to the agreed scope.
The standard initial three-month engagement includes:
One planned half-day on-site leadership session
where useful and practical.
Longer continuing engagements normally include:
Up to one planned on-site half-day per quarter
where appropriate to the agreed scope.
Additional on-site days, Pressure Integrity Workshops™ or Shield Wall engagements are separately scoped and quoted.
Travel and accommodation requirements are agreed in advance.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE STANDARD MONTHLY ENGAGEMENT
In the standard monthly agreement, clients get:
-
two 60-minute sponsor / senior-leader advisory sessions;
-
one 90-minute leadership-team advisory or facilitated-review session;
-
bounded implementation support;
-
monthly written advisory notes;
-
access for one nominated organisational sponsor or senior leadership contact;
-
one defined leadership group of up to eight people;
-
a review of agreed organisational priorities;
-
a formal 90-day review during the initial engagement;
-
agreed on-site provision within the standard longer-term structure.
WHAT IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED
The standard Resilience Consulting engagement does not automatically include:
-
additional Pressure Integrity Workshops™;
-
Shield Wall days;
-
unlimited on-site attendance;
-
unlimited access for every employee or department;
-
extensive policy writing;
-
major document-production projects;
-
investigations;
-
HR casework;
-
safeguarding work;
-
occupational-health provision;
-
clinical support;
-
legal advice.
Where additional leadership-development work is appropriate, it can be scoped separately.
Where another professional discipline is required, that function should remain with the appropriate specialist.

PROFESSIONAL & ORGANISATIONAL SCOPE
Resilience Consulting does not replace:
-
organisational leadership;
-
HR;
-
safeguarding;
-
occupational health;
-
counselling;
-
psychotherapy;
-
clinical diagnosis;
-
psychological assessment;
-
medical care;
-
mental-health treatment;
-
crisis intervention;
-
legal advice.
It is organisational resilience advisory and leadership-development work.
The professional boundary remains part of responsible consulting.
WHEN THE ISSUE REQUIRES CONTINUITY
Some organisational pressure can be addressed through a focused two-hour Workshop.
Some requires a deeper one-day intensive.
Some cannot be addressed responsibly through a single event.
Resilience Consulting exists for that third situation. It provides continuity without turning the relationship into undefined, unlimited consultancy.
QUESTIONS ABOUT RESILIENCE CONSULTING
"What is the minimum engagement?"
Three months.
"What does it cost?"
The standard engagement begins at £3,500 per month. More extensive organisational scopes are quoted separately and agreed in advance.
"What does the standard monthly engagement include?"
It includes: two 60-minute sponsor or senior-leader advisory sessions; one 90-minute leadership-team advisory/review session; bounded implementation support; a concise monthly advisory note; and access for one defined leadership group of up to eight people.
"Is the work remote?"
Primarily. The engagement is designed to operate approximately 80% remotely and 20% on site. The standard initial three-month engagement may include one planned half-day on-site session where useful and practical.
"Does everyone in our organisation have access to Obi?"
No. The standard engagement is held with one nominated organisational sponsor or senior leadership contact and one defined leadership group of up to eight people. Wider access is separately scoped.
"Are Workshops included?"
Not automatically. Pressure Integrity Workshops™, Shield Wall days and substantial additional facilitated work are separately scoped.
"What implementation support is available?"
Bounded asynchronous support is available for agreed implementation questions. Messages are reviewed on working days and normally answered within one working day. Substantial projects or extensive new work require separate agreement.
"Do we receive reports?"
You receive a concise monthly advisory note recording priorities, actions, responsibilities and next review points. It is not an employee-assessment or clinical report.
"What happens after three months?"
The engagement concludes with a formal 90-day review. At that point, the work may conclude, continue or change scope — depending on what remains relevant.
"Is this HR consultancy?"
No. Resilience Consulting is organisational resilience and leadership-development advisory work. It does not replace HR, safeguarding, occupational health, clinical support or legal advice.
